AgriPro has a long history of breeding for Western Canada, dating back to 1974. This is an extensive breeding program designed to develop top-notch Canadian Western Red Spring and Canadian Prairie Spring varieties, which are suitable for the western prairie provinces. Since 1988, we have been involved in a joint development program with Agricore United based out of Winnipeg, Canada. AgriPro®, under the direction of breeder Kevin McCallum, develops the base germplasm and breeding populations that are screened across numerous sites across western Canada.
